Doomfist has arrived to Overwatch.

Overwatch’s latest supervillain, Doomfist, offers a fun and fast gameplay, but can he be a serious contender?

MITCH CHOKAS

Dedicated fans of Overwatch spent this last weekend experimenting with the new dynamic supervillain, Doomfist. The fast-moving character’s diverse play style is a never-before-seen, take on Overwatch gameplay, but comes with its drawbacks. Take a look at this melee fighter’s story and skillset:

Doomfist

Overwatch   45   Oyo, Nigeria

Doomfist’s cybernetics make him a highly-mobile, powerful frontline fighter. In addition to dealing ranged damage with his Hand Cannon, Doomfist can slam the ground, knock enemies into the air and off balance, or charge into the fray with his Rocket Punch. When facing a tightly packed group, Doomfist leaps out of view, then crashes down to earth with a spectacular Meteor Strike.

Doomfist’s assets are fresh and spectacular, but his deficits hard to redeem.
