Ronda Rousey solidifies she belongs in the ring at WWE's 'Money In The Bank'

For those who doubted Ronda Rousey could successfully make the leap from UFC over to the WWE, well, she proved all the haters wrong on Sunday.

Ronda Rousey proved once again she can do it all, and put on a good show to boot.

The former UFC women's bantamweight champion had the chance to show off her in-ring skills in front of the packed WWE crowd at Sunday's Money in the Bank event. She and Raw women's champion Nia Jax didn't dissapoint as they put on a phenomenal match for the belt.

Sadly, both ladies didn't come out on top.

Apparently cheaters DO prosper in the @wwe - not surprising tbh, given their leadership @stephaniemcmahon @tripleh I dont know what I was doing expecting a certain degree of honor and fair sport. That was MY mistake. I wont make it again. @alexa_bliss_wwe_ .... you screwed over the wrong woman. See you tonight on #Raw

Enter Alexa Bliss.

Rousey was about to end the match by taking the champ to the mat and deliver her famous armbar, but  Bliss who had won the women's Money in the Bank ladder match earlier in the night whacked Rowdy in back with the briefcase to cause a disqualification. It only got worse for Rousey, but she held her own.

Rousey's big league match at Money in the Bank was only her second pay-per-view performance, and it was for the Raw women's title. Although she didn't come out on top, she etched her name into the WWE books for good.

We can only expect more greatness to come from Rousey.
