WWE star Jeff Hardy was arrested Saturday for driving while impaired in Concord, North Carolina after an accident on Concord Parkway, according to Cabarrus County Court records obtained by TMZ.

The documents reveal that the 40-year-old crashed his car and blew a .25 on a Breathalyzer test, which is more than three times the legal limit. The accident happened at 8:11 pm, and he was arrested at 10:39 pm only to be released later that night.

Hopefully after another month I'll be able to lift a little weight and start building up my chest and my arms. Hopefully, by April, I'll be good to go and actually get back in the ring and do what Jeff Hardy loves to do.

Hardy totaled his 2016 Cadillac CTS-V with an estimated $8,000 in damages, according to the report.

"Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions," the WWE said in a statement to multiple outlets. "We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials."

The longtime wrestling star, who has been in and out of WWE since the 1990s, underwent surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff in October. He has since been cleared by his surgeon but is just waiting on clearance from WWE doctors to return, according to the WWE.

As for what happens next, Hardy has a court date set for April 16, just eight days after WrestleMania 34, which is set for April 8 in New Orleans.
