WWE announced that Big Cass had been released from the company on Tuesday, but the big question was why?

It's being reported that a major issue was Big Cass excessively drinking during most of the European tour, and having attitudes with others while drunk, according to Sports Illustrated.

Keep in mind, being intoxicated while in public is something the WWE does not condone in the slightest.

Been training with the best submission specialist in WWE @DrewGulak. Tonight, I will embarrass Daniel Bryan by making him tap out...or just kick him in the head. Either way, I will prove why I am the BEST wrestler in WWE. BIG man>little man #MITB.

Cass, whose real name is William Morrissey, was a 30-year-old talented guy who up until recently, was a favorite of Vince McMahon's. Standing tall at 6'8", listed as 7-feet tall, has been with WWE since 2011, and had recently returned to action from a torn ACL.

He has recently lost in back-to-back pay-per-view events against Daniel  Bryan, but his release still came as a surprise to a lot of fans following Sunday's defeat.

OH HELL YEAH!!! @steveaustinbsr #WrestleMania32 weekend already a success
