Soon-to-be former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor provided a little pre-event excitement, getting into it with fighters and throwing a railing WWE-style at a hotel transport bus.

Soon-to-be former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor made it to Brooklyn for UFC 223 and is turning all the way up on everyone in his wake.

McGregor, who is likely in town to support SBG Ireland teammate Artem Lobov who fights Alex Caceres, and his crew of hooligans made a visit to UFC 223 media day at Barclays Center, in New York City on Wednesday, where a confrontation turned into throwing railings and chairs at one of the transport buses.

Fighter Michael Chiesa, who's supposed to fight Anthony Pettis in the event, was injured in the mayhem. Chiesa's coach, Rick Little, told MMAJunkie that his fighter was "cut up" from shattered glass, but apparently not to any extent requiring cancellation of his match with Pettis.

In typical WWE style, McGregor was later seen sprinting away from the scene with his crew.

After reports started trickling in, Dana White was asked if he will be firing McGregor as a result of the incident and he said, "This is bigger than us firing him."

An ESPN reporter added that White told him there was "a warrant out for McGregor's arrest and his plane can't leave New York."

Conor went bananas and put a beating on the van that we were in looking for Khabib. A million security guards had to restrain him. Mikes cut up now. Hes got marks on him, for sure. I dont think too serious. Everything happened so fast, it was just like we got jumped.
