You have to give Floyd Mayweather credit for one thing - he didn't fool us. He never said he would fight in the Octagon. He said he could make 'a billion dollars' in the UFC.

UFC president Dana White casually mentioned Thursday on Fox Sports' Undisputed that he'd like to get into boxing - as if no one would catch it. - and that he's meeting with Mayweather's people.

He had come out earlier and said - thats why people were asking me about it, and I said dont count anything out on him coming over to the UFC, that anything is possible. And I still dont. Listen, you guys know I was here, I did not believe that McGregor-Mayweather would happen and it did. So anything is possible.

And there you have it - the most logical situation available for all parties. Floyd could guide the Brinks truck to toward his doorstep, and make all of White's ambitious dreams come true and fight under the UFC banner (and marketing machine.)

Additionally, White could put tremendous pressure on boxing promoters and sanctioning organizations to package better fights, more expeditiously.
