It hasn't even been a full month since Markle married Prince Harry and already she is out on her own adventures with the royal family. This is also the first occasion the Queen has taken the former actress on an official visit. It appears that they are trying to get Markle adjusted to her new life as a royal.

Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, David Briggs, told Markle at the event, "I understand it is your first trip to the north of England," to which she answered, "Thats correct. Im very happy to be here."

The pair visited the Mersey Gateway Bridge and saw a performance by local school children before the Queen formally opened the bridge.

The adorable duo also visited Storyhouse in Chester where they met a Syrian settlement group and caught a performance by the Fallen Angels dance company. Their last stop was a lunch at the Chester Town Hall.

The events and outings are meant to immerse Markle into her new duties as a royal and get her involved in public royal engagements.
