What a year it has been for the Royal family even for the young ones! On Tuesday, Kensington Palace released a sweet look-back of the top royal moments of 2017. The clip opened up with adorable photos of four-year-old Prince George's first day of school, two-year-old Princess Charlotte's first posey and a precious snap of the siblings taking part in their aunt Pippa Middletons wedding in May.

The video went on to show major moments including Trooping the Colour in June, the 20th Anniversary of Princess Dianas death and the Duke of Cambridge's last shift as an air ambulance pilot in July.

For this new year, the only thing I aim to do is to approach life playfully. To laugh and enjoy, to keep my standards high but my level of self-acceptance higher. My New Years resolution is to leave room for magic. To make my plans, and be okay if they sometimes break. To set my goals, but to be open to change.

Of course, one of the most talked about moments was Prince Harry's historical engagement to American actress, Meghan Markle. The couple is scheduled to wed on May 19, 2018, at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

But there was one exciting royal moment missing from the slideshow, news that William and Kate will be welcoming a third child come April.

2017 has set the royal family up for an exciting new year!
