Pippa Middleton is expecting her first child with her husband, James Matthews. Duchess Kate Middleton's sister opened up about how her pregnancy is going with Waitrose Kitchen magazine.

Though she hasn't suffered the same morning sickness as Kate, Pippa said, "I was lucky to pass the 12-week scan without suffering from morning sickness. That meant I was able to carry on as normal."

Kate, who just gave birth to her third child, was battling a severe pregnancy sickness called Hyperemesis Gravidarum. She was unable to carry out her royal duties for the first months.

I was lucky to pass the 12-week scan without suffering from morning sickness. That meant I was able to carry on as normal.

Pippa, who was able to go about her daily routine with some adjustments, said, "When I learned the happy news that I was pregnant, I realized I needed to adjust my four to five-day-a-week [fitness] routine."

Pippa, who's an avid runner, was disappointed about the amount of information available about what workouts were safe for a pregnant woman.

"I've noticed my body change, but through exercise, I feel its being strengthened," she explained. "I'm fanatical about sports and have looked at loads of books and websites on exercise during pregnancy, but have been disappointed by the limited technical information what you can and cant do."
