The Met Gala was filled with stunning outfits and celebrities and an iconic performance from the one and only Madonna.

The theme of this year's Met Gala was "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination," and there couldn't be a more fitting performance than Madonna herself.

The iconic singer performed her legendary song "Like A Prayer" to the audience of celebrities. She started the performance with a group of singers in monk robes who hid their faces. They sang the song in a cappella until it was revealed that Madonna was in the choir.

Its a beautiful plan, but Im not concerned / Its a beautiful game, that I never learned / You have taught me to shut my mouth, so I dont get burned / Keep your beautiful lies, cause Im not concerned.

She also performed Leonard Cohen's iconic "Hallelujah" in a haunting rendition with only a light piano backing the number. Dancers moved around her, and she gracefully made her way through the audience in a dramatic performance.

Madonna also showed off a new mid-temp number but has been keeping it a secret. The lyrics so far are, "Its a beautiful plan, but Im not concerned / Its a beautiful game, that I never learned / You have taught me to shut my mouth, so I dont get burned / Keep your beautiful lies, cause Im not concerned."
