Caitlyn Jenner wasnt ready for the world to know about her gender confirmation surgery and that included ex-wife Kris Jenner and her now estranged stepchildren Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian about the procedure. In a new interview with Piers Morgan for his show Life Stories (airing on ITV on Thursday, January 4), Jenner opens up about her reasoning for keeping her famous family in the dark.

"I didnt tell anybody. Why? Its none of their business," she told Morgan. "Because I didnt want them to leak it to the press. And there was no reason for them to know about it."

I didnt want them to leak it to the press, okay?

"Is it not the business of your very, very recently ex-wife, your kids? Are they not entitled to know before the world?" Morgan asked. "No, it's not that big a deal," the 68-year-old said. "I had already been living as Caitlyn for a year and a half; nobody knows anything."

"You didn't trust them?" Morgan asked. "Of course not," Jenner added, and with that, the Olympic gold medalist went on to admit that she doesn't "talk to the Kardashians anymore."

"The only ones I am concerned about are Kendall and Kylie," Jenner revealed about her daughters. "They are my biological kids. I spent 23 years carting them around."

My girl loves her horses!
