Ken Jeong stopped his show to help save a woman having a medical emergency during his standup set over the weekend.

Jeong actually began his career as a medical doctor and is a licensed physician and surgeon in California even though he doesnt practice medicine right now and is currently a comedian and actor.

He was performing at the Stand Up Live comedy club in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday when a woman started having a seizure.

A woman had a medical emergency during the show. Ken thinks its heckling, when people are asking for his help. He jumps off stage to assist. An EMT helped, too. Then on with the show! Great night! He is gracious and grateful...AND flipping funny!

The actor's rep, Michelle Margolis confirmed to TMZ that the Hangover star helped the woman after he was made aware of the emergency. He then cleared room for the woman and had the club call paramedics.

Luckily one of the audience members was also an EMT and stepped in. They waited until ambulances arrived and the woman gained consciousness then she was taken to a hospital.

An audience member, Heather Holmberg, tweeted about the incident, saying, "A woman had a medical emergency during the show. Ken thinks its heckling, when people are asking for his help. He jumps off stage to assist. An EMT helped, too. Then on with the show! Great night! He is gracious and grateful...AND flipping funny!"
