Suns SF TJ Warren has reached an agreement on a four year contract extension with the Phoenix Suns according to General Manager Ryan McDonough. He also noted that the deal will not start until the 2018-2019 season.

The deal is expected to be worth $50 million across four years. While many might think that he is overpaid, if you look at other similar contracts across the league this ones a steal. Warren averaged 14.4 PPG, 5.1 RPG, and and 1.2 SPG last season for the Suns.

Hes been probably our most consistent two-way player and our best scorer in terms of efficiency, and just being able to get a bucket to stop an opposing run or to start a run of our own in the halfcourt.

Warren came on strong last season after the all-star break once P.J. Tucker was sent to the Raptors. It will be interesting to see how he fits in to the lineup with the addition of Josh Jackson in the draft,
