Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal looked unstoppable, scoring a career-high 51 points as Washington (13-11) secured a dominant 106-92 win over the Portland Trail Blazers (13-11) on Tuesday.

The former Florida Gator bettered his previous career high of 42 points early in the final quarter, helping Washington work past the awful 116-69 loss to the Utah Jazz on Monday.

Beal went 21-of-37 overall, knocking down five of his 12 three-pointers.

I came into the game with the mindset of being aggressive, especially coming off the game last night ( a 46-point loss to Utah on Monday) and the way I played the last four or five games.

Damian Lillard finished with 30 points, eight rebounds and nine assists for the Blazers.

Center Jusuf Nurkic suffered a right ankle injury, but X-rays came back negative. He had 15 points and nine rebounds before the injury.

The Wizards played without All-Star point guard John Wall for the sixth straight game.
