Recently seen in New York with Spurs team gear, Kawhi Leonard appears ready to come back to the fold and may want to resign after - he just needs a certain someone to give a little.

The San Antonio Spurs star forward, per Bleacher Report, reportedly desires head coach Gregg Popovich to "tweak some things," related to practice time and other quibbles.

From what I understand, he wants (Gregg) Popovich to lighten up a little with practice and tweak some things. The Spurs may not want to change their ways, but this is Kawhi Leonard we're talking about.

The Spurs are in a bit of a quandary with Leonard being out with a quadriceps injury for a majority of the 2017-18 NBA season.

To pay, or not to pay. This is the question.

Let there be no confusion; it would be in Leonard's best interest to stay.

The Spurs have the prospect of offer Leonard a "super-max" deal, five-year contract worth $219 million. If he were moved to another team, say the Lakers as rumored, it would mean a roughly $80 million less in guaranteed dollars.
