Kawhi Leonard has finally cleared the air following reports that there was immense friction between himself and the San Antonio Spurs. While talking to reporters after Wednesday's practice, Leonard ensured fans he would return to the court this season and that he saw himself playing in San Antonio in the future.

Everything was done as a group. I don't feel like nothing was friction. I talk to [head coach Gregg Popovich] every day. He knows what the progressions were. He knew what I am doing the whole entire time.

Although no official return date has been set, Leonard said he plans on returning soon. Last season Leonard had an MVP-type year averaging 25.5 PPG, 5.8 RPG, and 3.5 APG while maintaining his status as one of the elite defenders in the league. The Spurs are in dire need of his return as they have slipped to 5th in West and are in danger of missing the playoffs for the first time since the 1996-1997 season.
