O'Neal and Barkley disagreed on whether it was the right choice for Casey to bench DeRozan, and it ended up with the big guy attacking Barkley's championship pedigree.

It got steaming hot on the set of TNT's Inside the NBA last night in discussing Raptors head coach Dwane Casey's decision to sit his best player, DeMar DeRozan, throughout the fourth quarter of Toronto's crushing Game 3 loss to Cleveland where LeBron James hit a game-winning jumper.

Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley disagreed on whether it was the right choice for Casey to bench DeRozan. Barkley believes Casey should repair his relationship with the player. However, O'Neal opposed, and it ended up with him attacking Barkley's championship pedigree.

"Me and Pat Riley never saw eye-to-eye and what happened," Shaq started, getting heated.

You dont know what youre talking about when it comes to championships. Stop babying these players, you got babied and thats why you aint win.

"I didnt have Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant carrying me up and down the court," Barkley snapped back.

Sheesh, Chuck.

Barkley was correct in that a head coach should have a good working relationship with their best player. However, O'Neal was right about being the best player in the Lakers' three-peat.

However, O'Neal was definitely wrong to attack Barkley in that fashion, given he could've just calmly agreed to disagree.

Truthfully, this exchange is partly why Inside the NBA is some of the most compelling television around. The show, itself, is so good, that being an NBA basketball fan isn't at all a requirement to enjoy the program.
