DeMar DeRozan puts all of Detroit on a poster

While the poster dunk was spectacular, the All-Star guard put in work in the clutch, scoring a game-high 42 points and 6 assists.

Toronto Raptors star DeMar DeRozan made a pass to point guard Fred VanVleet who knocked down the tiebreaking jumper with 1.1 seconds remaining, giving the Raptors a thrilling 121-119 overtime victory over the Pistons on Wednesday night.

DeRozan was the star of the night, finishing with 42 points, guiding Toronto to become the first team to clinch a playoff berth. But the play of the night in the league was a ridiculous lane-filling, posterizing flush.

We need to be hardened and face some adversity. Tonight was one of those tests. I think each game we go into, everybody's going to give us their best shot.

Driving the length of the court, DeRozan threw down a go-ahead, and-1 poster over Anthony Tolliver with 4.6 seconds left, leaving the arena stunned.

The Eastern Conference-leading Raptors are winners of six straight and 13 of the last 14.

Blake Griffin scored 31 for Detroit. The struggling Pistons has lost four in a row and 10 of 12.
