TNT analyst Kenny Smith will interview for the Detroit Pistons head coaching position.

Though a curious selection, the Pistons are looking at all options, in a search that is headlined by Dwane Casey, who was fired by the Toronto Raptors. It was also reported that Heat assistant and former NBA All-Star Juwan Howard would also interview for the job, according to multiple reports.

Former Toronto Raptors coach Dwane Casey will be a primary target of the Pistons coaching search.

Detroit, who are working without a proper general manager, hired former Philadelphia 76ers general manager and Memphis Grizzlies executive Ed Stefanski to serve as a senior adviser "responsible for overhauling the franchise's basketball operations," according to ESPN.

The Pistons are looking for a new voice and vision, to reframe the franchise as a desirable location for free agents.
