LeBron James to the Lakers? LA tempts all-star with new billboards

LeBron James is being wooed to join the Los Angeles Lakers by use of four large billboards posted around the City of Angels.

A billboard war has begun.

LeBron James is getting recruited hard, and now LA has thrown their hat in the ring. Following in the footsteps of Philadelphia, the City of Angels is trying to tempt the Cleveland Cavaliers star to join the Lakers with the use of billboards.

My focus right now is on this team and trying to figure out how we can get back to a fourth NBA Finals and compete for a championship. Everything else, if its not about this team if you wanna ask me about this team, I can answer it, good, bad or ugly. But please, for the rest of this season, dont ask me about nothing else, no other team, unless were competing against them the next night, or you wanna ask me about a highlight that happened before.

Four massive signs went up around the city ahead of the Cavs' game against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center on Sunday which read: "Forget The Process, We Win Banners #LABron."

"#LABron, Cleveland & Philly, You Can't Compete With L.A," another read with the Lakers' retired jersey numbers with James' number included.

The creative billboards were paid for by attorney and longtime Lakers season ticket-holder, Jacob Emrani.
