Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert will be out for a month, after an MRI revealed a posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) strain and a bone bruise in his left knee.

Gobert suffered the injury during a 107-95 win over the Boston Celtics. Early in the first quarter, teammate Derrick Favors, tumbling over in the paint, rolling backward into Goberts knee.

Doctors said he would be evaluated in two weeks.

Rudy's resilient, and he's got a great approach. He's tough ... you look at him he's big and he's long, he's not 280, but he's tough. And it's a credit to him that he's able to bounce back the way he has. Again, the injury is such that hopefully he'll be able to do that quickly.
