Utah Jazz rookie star Donovan Mitchell went off and scored 22 of his 24 points for Utah in the third quarter of their Game 5, season-ending loss to the Houston Rockets.

Mitchell only had five attempts in the entire first half of the game. However, sensing the moment at hand in an elimination game, the likely future All-Star went for broke, taking 11 shots in the quarter.

This is just the beginning. We've got a lot more in us. We'll be back here. We've got a lot of guys who are willing to work, so I'm excited. I'm really excited.

However, to add the loss, Mitchell left the game with roughly seven minutes left with a left leg injury. Not able to put pressure on the leg, he needed assistance leaving the court.

The Jazz didn't give an update on his status after the game, but he wore a walking boot on his left foot. Requisite scans and tests will be run on the foot for confirmation of injury.
