Donovan Mitchell throws shade at Ben Simmons

Donovan Mitchell went as far as wearing an Adidas sweatshirt providing an explanation of what a "rookie" is, aimed directly at Ben Simmons.

Ahead of Tuesday's blowout win over the Golden State Warriors, Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell ramped up the mini-beef with Philadelphia 76ers guard and Rookie of the Year favorite Ben Simmons.

He wore a hoodie that read: "Rookie: An athlete playing his or her first season as a member of a professional sports team."

It was an apparent poke at Simmons' standing as a "redshirt rookie," after he sat last season with a foot injury.

Sneaker brand Adidas approached Mitchell about wearing the hoodie, and he went along it in fun, according to ESPN.

After the 76ers' 15th straight win Tuesday night, Simmons said it was "all love" when told about the sweatshirt.

"No, it's funny, it's all love," he said. "He's a great player. If I wasn't a rookie this year, he would've definitely had it. But I'm not, so ..."

Ill put it in perspective for people who obviously dont play in the NBA and dont know the life of the NBA. So, lets say you have an exam to take on June 1 and you have a whole year to study for that exam, youre going to get a pretty good grade on it, arent you? But some people may not have all that time to prepare for that exam.
