Following the Cleveland Cavaliers' blowout 116-98 loss to the Orlando Magic - one of the league's worst teams this season - point guard Isaiah Thomas continues to make troubling comments about the state of the Cavs.

Thomas said after the game that "when adversity hits, we go our separate ways," per's Dave McMenamin (h/t Bleacher Report.)

And he had much more to add for reporters.

I don't know the last time we got on the floor for a loose ball. I know that teams I've been on, defense is determined on deflections, steals, loose balls, who's the hardest working team.

The irony in all that, of course, is that Thomas has been arguably the worst player on the team, perhaps the league since returning from his hip injury.

The Cavaliers had a minus-14.8 net rating with Thomas on the floor going to last night's game, per to He's in the bottom ten players in the NBA in's real plus-minus (minus-4.27).

There are even open ideas that Thomas should be traded. UPDATE: Thomas has been traded to the Lakers.

"If [Thomas] is going to be high-volume, no-efficiency and a poor defender, that's pretty hard to absorb," an NBA executive told Bleacher Report's Ken Berger. "The pieces don't fit."
