In one of the great performances of his career, LeBron James scored 43 points with 14 assists, and Kevin Love added 31 points and 11 rebounds, to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers over the Toronto Raptors 128-110 on Thursday.

Cleveland now holds a 2-0 lead in this second-round playoff series.

This morning you could just sense it. He knew what was at stake, he knew us getting another win here was going to be huge for us. He came out and he played that way from the jump. You could just sense that he was going to have a special night.

Even more impressively, James was otherworldly efficient. He shot 67.8 percent from the field, committed one personal foul and one turnover (to 14 assists.)

DeMar DeRozan scored 24 points and Kyle Lowry had 21 for the Raptors. Jonas Valanciunas added 16 points and 12 rebounds.

But the story of the night including Love's at-lo breakout was James' heroics. Over and over, he hit fadeaways from every angle of the court, leaving the crowd and rapper Drake in a mixture of disgust and awe.
