Cavs come up short in game 3 as Warriors win again

The Warriors needed all of Kevin Durant's production - showing why his free agency pickup has proven valuable - as Stephen Curry had the worst Finals game of his career.

The Golden State Warriors are just a win away from a modern dynasty.

Kevin Durant scored a career playoff-high 43 points, draining a 33-foot three in the final minute to close a brilliant performance, and the Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 110-102 in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night to move within a win that would secure their second straight title - their third in four years.

I don't want to downplay anything, but I don't want to act like this is the end of the road. So just get back to work tomorrow and figure out a better game plan

The Warriors needed all of Durant's production - showing why his free agency pickup has proven valuable - as Stephen Curry had the worst Finals game of his career. He scored 11 points on 3-of-16 shooting, including 1-of-10 from deep.

LeBron James and Kevin Love carried the Cavs once again. James had his 10th Finals triple-double with 33 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. Love produced a solid 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Game 4 is Friday night, and Cleveland will be playing from a deficit (0-3) that no team has come back from.
