LeBron hits buzzer beater to down Timberwolves

Even before the game-winner shot over the Wolves' Jimmy Butler, James got a massive block on the All-Star on the previous defensive possession.

Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James got a big block on Jimmy Butler, then nailed a game-winning fadeaway on the Minnesota All-Star to seal a 140-138 OT win for the struggling Cavs over the Timberwolves on Wednesday night.

With under four seconds left in overtime and the score tied at 138, the four-time MVP got a big weakside block on a Butler drive.

After a timeout, Cavs forward Jeff Green gave the perfect to James on the other end of the floor, and James sent home a Dirk-fadeaway off one leg to end it.

Once I caught it, I just trusted everything I've done in my career.

James would finish with ninth triple-double of the season, with 37 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists (against 5 turnovers.)

Butler would lead the Wolves with 35. Karl-Anthony Towns has 30 points and 10 rebounds.

James still isn't ready to drop his proposed Cavs-specific ban on nationally televised games.

"It was a good win, but our record still stinks on national television," said James. "We've got a couple coming up, so we'll try to change that."
