LeBron James dropped 45 points after playing 43 mins in win against Pacers

LeBron James needed all 45 points to get the Cavs over what was an awful matchup for the club on paper. The favored Eastern Conference No. 1 seed Toronto Raptors are next.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have survived, at least into round two.

LeBron James scored 45 with Cleveland needed every point to lead the Cavaliers toward their 105-101 win on Sunday over the Indiana Pacers in Game 7 of the hyper-competitive first-round matchup.

James also had nine rebounds, seven assists and played over 43 minutes.

I'm burnt right now. I'm not thinking about Toronto right now until tomorrow. I'm ready to go home. Can we? I'm tired. I want to go home

Finally making a start, Tristan Thompson scored 15 points and 10 rebounds, after playing just 24 minutes in the first six games. George Hill returned after sitting three games with back spasms to score 11 points in 19 minutes (all in second-half.)

The Cavs will need this contribution with more regularity, against their next matchup against the Toronto Raptors, the East. No. 1 seed.

Pacers star Victor Oladipo scored 30 going toe-to-toe with James, and Darren Collison had 23.
