No one at Explica has a vote to name winners for the NBA's annual awards, but we took a swing at it anyway.

Here's our rundown:

Most Valuable Player: James Harden, Houston Rockets guard

Defensive Player of the Year: Rudy Gobert, Utah Jazz center

Sixth Man of the Year: Lou Williams, LA Clippers guard

Most Improved Player: Victor Oladipo, Indiana Pacers guard

Coach of the Year: Mike D'Antoni, Houston Rockets

Executive of the Year: Daryl Morey, Rockets general manager

All-NBA 1st Team:

James Harden, Houston Rockets guard

Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers guard

LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers forward

Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans, forward

All-NBA 2nd Team:

Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder guard

Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors guard

Giannis Antetokopounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks forward

Kevin Durant, Golden State Warriors forward

Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves center

[James Harden]'s definitely an MVP this year. He's played well on the team that's playing the best in basketball, but you can always argue LeBron [James] can get it every year. Like Michael Jordan should have had 12 of them. LeBron's the same type of player.

Rookie of the Year: Ben Simmons, Philadelphia 76ers guard

All-NBA Rookie 1st Team:

Ben Simmons, Philadelphia 76ers guard

Donovan Mitchell, Utah Jazz guard

Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics forward

Lauri Markkenen, Chicago Bulls forward

Kyle Kuzma, LA Lakers forward
