The Philadelphia 76ers are trusting in the process. As of Monday night, the organization has signed on Joel Embiid to a five year max contract worth a reported $148 million. The Sixers will presumably look to build around Embiid betting that he will stay healthy throughout the next five years. Embiid has struggled to stay healthy in his time with the Sixers only seeing the court in 31 games since the Sixers drafted him third overall in the 2014 draft.

The Sixers have a great core to build around after acquiring Nick Fultz and Ben Simmons the previous two season through the draft. Although the team is young, if they can stay healthy the Sixers should make a push for a playoff seed in the East this season. Injuries have caused setbacks in the process, but it looks as if the pieces of the puzzle are starting to come together.

He is physical, has size, athletic ability, like a young Shaq coming into the league and Shaq didnt shoot it like this young man.His athletic ability, his quickness, his speed for his size, his ability to get where he wants to go off the dribble, he is a tremendous problem on both ends of the floor because defensively he is moving his feet to protect the rim and is also running the floor.

Last season, Embiid was a force to be reckoned with while healthy averaging 20.2 PPG, 7.8 RPG and 2.5 BPG while only seeing the court for an average of 25.4 minutes. The Sixers but their faith in the "The Process," now it is time to see if the big man can deliver.
