Celtics SF Jaylen Brown recently spoke out on the Celtics trading away Isaiah Thomas for Kyrie Irving. There’s no doubt that Brown is a huge part of there Celtics future, but he is unsure on the direction of the Celtics after the blockbuster trade. After the trade, Brown says the culture of the Celtics has completely changed.
Brown was the Celtics third overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft, and is one of four returning players from last seasons roster. The Celtics sent off Avery Bradley, Isaiah Thomas, and Jae Crowder this off-season in return for the likes of Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward.
…When I came in everything they stressed was culture, environment, Celtic basketball. Now, it’s like what is the environment, the culture, what is Celtic basketball? I think it’s a great opportunity for me, great opportunity for the Celtics, great opportunity for Kyrie.

Last season, Brown averaged 6.6 PPG, 2.1 RPG, and .8 APG coming off the bench. He will look to have a bigger role this season potentially leading the second unit. Did the Celtics make the right move trading for Kyrie?
